Solex Energy Ltd has secured new work orders worth INR 74.77 crore (approximately $9 million) for the manufacture and supply of solar photovoltaic modules. According to a company regulatory filing reported by PV Magazine India, the orders are from domestic entities and are scheduled for execution in December 2026.

These latest contracts contribute to a significant and growing order book for the Indian manufacturer. The company stated that these orders, combined with others received recently, represent an executable order pipeline totaling INR 846 crore. All orders in this pipeline are targeted for completion by December 31, 2026.

Recent Order Inflows

The INR 74.77 crore announcement follows substantial order wins in the preceding months. In July 2026, Solex Energy received orders worth more than INR 628 crore. The following month, in August, it secured an additional INR 42.47 crore work order from a domestic power sector company. That August order is specifically for the supply of n-type TOPCon 620-watt glass-to-glass solar PV modules, with execution scheduled to begin in October 2026.

Furthermore, the company has received a letter of intent for another order valued at INR 175 crore. A master supply agreement for this project is currently at the signing stage.

Manufacturing Capacity and Expansion

Solex Energy operates from a 4-gigawatt solar module manufacturing facility located in Tadkeshwar, Gujarat. The plant is described as being equipped with Industry 4.0-enabled automation. The company is also developing its own solar cell production capability.

A 2.2 GW n-type TOPCon+ cell production line is under construction as the first phase of a planned 5 GW cell manufacturing capacity. This cell line is reported to be on track for commissioning by the end of 2027.

Long-Term Growth Plans

The company has outlined ambitious expansion targets as part of its 2030 plans. It aims to build significant new capacity across the solar and storage value chain. The goals include reaching 10 GW of solar module manufacturing capacity and 10 GW of solar cell capacity.

Solex Energy also plans to establish 10 GW of battery energy storage system (BESS) infrastructure and 2 GW of wafer and ingot manufacturing capacity. The company is exploring opportunities for further vertical integration across the solar supply chain.

These expansion plans indicate a strategic move beyond module assembly into more upstream manufacturing processes and into the adjacent field of energy storage.
